As we always want to bring as much value as possible to our customers, we invited along a special guest speaker to present to the attendees of Real Social Marketing Secrets Workshop Malaysia.

As you can see in the photo above, our special guest speaker is none other than Patric Chan, my Malaysian business partner, International speaker and one of the top Internet Marketers in the world.

Patric Chan also happened to be in Kuala Lumpur at the same time because he was conducting his own event, Affiliate List Profit Workshop, which also happened to be at the same venue as Real Social Marketing Secrets Workshop on the 13th floor, just one level above.

To return the favor to Patric Chan and his own customers, I also agreed to speak at the Affiliate List Profit Workshop, so that we could both mutually benefit each other’s event attendees.

Since both of our events were running simultaneously, we needed to plan our schedules accordingly, which meant that I actually had to skip lunch because we presented at one another’s lunch breaks.

However, the sacrifice was well worth it just to be able to bring the additional value to both sets of attendees.

Plus – I probably should have skipped the meal anyway, since the interesting thing about this last minute collaboration is that we actually hadn’t planned on speaking at each other’s events until the night before, when Fabian Lim, Patric Chan and I discussed our plans over a McDonald’s meal (all three of us had Quarter Pounder meals, in case you were wondering!)

I think everyone was pleased with the way things panned out, especially since attendees of both Real Social Marketing Secrets Workshop and Affiliate List Profits Workshop had surprise guest experts who were not originally planned.

Thanks again to my good friends, Fabian Lim and Patric Chan – I look forward to working with both of you again in the very near future!

For the past week, I have been spending a lot of time with Fabian Lim and the Asia Internet Congress team as they held two powerful back-to-back events in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Singapore.

This weekend’s Asia Internet Congress event in Singapore is even bigger than last weekend’s in Malaysia, with over twice the number of attendees inside the jam-packed conference room.

In addition to the speakers who presented at Asia Internet Congress in Malaysia, which included Patric Chan, Jaz Lai, Sean Roach, David Cavanagh and Kishore M, Fabian Lim has added Jo Han Mok, Benjamin Wee and Ivan Wong to the Asia Internet Congress Singapore roster.

I’m very excited that Fabian Lim has invited me back to the Asia Internet Congress stage, as I was one of the speakers at the original Asia Internet Congress in Singapore back in 2007, which was also my very first speaking engagement in Singapore.

Since meeting for the first time at that event, Fabian Lim and I have become very close friends, speaking at each other’s events, and also planning some exciting events of our own scheduled to launch in Q1 of 2010.

I have decided to partner with Fabian Lim not only because he is a great friend who knows what he is doing when it comes to search engine optimization and Pay-Per-Click advertising, but also because he is one of the few promoters who knows how to put on amazing live events.

And it was definitely no exception this weekend at Asia Internet Congress in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

An event complete with some of the top experts in the world, motivated audience, well-trained crew and exceptional planning, Asia Internet Congress also included several full-blown 90 minute trainings from Fabian Lim himself.

In addition to the individual speaker presentations, expert panels and networking sessions, Asia Internet Congress is definitely one of the highest valued live events anyone can expect to attend at any given time.

And next weekend, I am very excited to return to Fabian Lim’s stage once again when he hosts Asia Internet Congress in Singapore.

Hello from the iTrain office at the MyGoogle Workshop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!

Throughout the weekend, I, along with Patric Chan and David DiNucci, revealed step-by-step how to build a complete Internet business using only Google and its many hidden gems that most people don’t know about.

The response we received from our students was nothing but stellar, and we are glad to have had the opportunity to share these Internet business strategies with this handful of serious entrepreneurs.

In an economy that undoubtedly has more to be desired, especially within a country where its own government is having economic struggles, these serious entrepreneurs now has a significant advantage knowing what they know to go out there and build themselves a more stable financial future.

The MYAdWords Workshop is the first collaboration between Patric Chan and I in our new partnership of Malaysia marketing events, and we have successfully completed our premiere workshop together in his hometown of Penang.

Throughout the weekend, we took our students through a series of content training, live demonstrations, hands-on account creation, campaign reviews and Q&A sessions.

As if our jam-packed agenda and tight schedule for the MYAdWords Workshop weren’t overwhelming enough, Patric Chan and I (through no pre-planning whatsoever, I promise!), managed to confuse our attendees even more by dressing exactly alike!

Imagine that! As if Asians don’t look enough alike already! Haha… just kidding.

All joking aside, we had only one weekend to attain our objectives to intensely train a room full of Internet Marketing newbies how to build an Internet business using Google AdWords, so Patric Chan and I, along with our awesome team, worked agressively with MYAdWords students to make sure that all their questions were answered.

Needless to say, the MYAdWords Workshop was a tremendous success, so Patric Chan and I are definitely looking forward to bringing more of the Internet’s best information to Malaysia.

After this trip, I will be returning to Malaysia – next time in Kuala Lumpur – to work on my next live workshop on the topic of Google Marketing with Patric Chan.

The My AdWords Workshop is my first official partnership with local Penang native and fellow Internet Marketer, Patric Chan, and the exciting thing is that we already have several more upcoming events in the plans, where we will expand more of our Internet Marketing content all across Malaysia!

This is also my first trip to Penang, and despite being exhausted from over 25 hours of travel from San Francisco to Hong Kong and to Singapore before finally landing in Penang, we had our first My AdWords free preview seminar within just 2 hours after my arrival.

After a much needed good night’s rest, Patric Chan and his wife Emily Chan spent the next day taking me around Penang to explore the city.

They were very gracious hosts, driving Cassey Lim and I around town and even hitting up some exquisite local Penang seafood!

The relaxing day proved wonders as we proceeded to prepare for our second preview seminar of the trip, where Patric Chan and I actually tripled our response rate from day one, selling out seats to the first ever My AdWords Workshop scheduled in 2 weeks right here in Penang.

Hello from the Orchard Parade Hotel in Singapore, where I am making my virtual presentation for Ross Goldberg’s Virtual Masters Internet Marketing Seminar!

The Virtual Masters Internet Marketing Seminar is Ross Goldberg’s third Masters Seminar this year (Masters Seminar Las Vegas and Masters Seminar Chicago), and I’m extremely honored to have been a part of all three of them.

My Virtual Masters Internet Marketing Seminar presentation was scheduled for 2pm EST, which was 3am for me in Singapore…

And because Ross Goldberg made the mistake of allowing me to speak for as long as I wanted to, I continued talking for over two hours until I couldn’t keep my eyes open anymore at 5:30am!

But it didn’t matter, because the environment was fun and interactive, and I enjoyed presenting in the virtually interactive seminar chatroom in front of fabulous attendees from all around the world.

Hello from Singapore Management University (SMU) at Fabian Lim’s Asia Internet Congress 2008 in Singapore!

Before I began organizing my own seminars and workshops in Asia, I first presented on the Singapore platform at Fabian Lim’s Asia Internet Congress 2007 last year.

This year, I was invited to stop by Asia Internet Congress again and had the chance to meet up with some of Asia’s most talented Internet Marketers, including Jo Han Mok, Patric Chan, Jaz Lai, Benjamin Wee, Eugene Ang, Alvin Phang, Ian Del Carmen and Virpi Tervonen.

Just like he did with Asia Internet Congress 2007, Fabian Lim highly encouraged networking between his speakers and attendees, organizing hours of breakout sessions in addition to the stage time, where his presenters delivered some amazing content for the Singapore audience.

The networking with fellow speakers and attendees in Asia was remarkable, and Asia Internet Congress was an impressive example of how a successful Internet Marketing conference should run.
